MANAGING PARTNER
Jeffrey R. Knakal is the founder and Managing Partner of Growth Partners. Mr. Knakal possesses both, extensive corporate development experience, highlighted by the founding of two $100,000,000 companies, and exceptional investment banking capabilities, highlighted by executing the most complex merger & acquisition and capital formation transactions. He enjoys a distinguished reputation within the corporate, finance and investment communities.
Prior to founding Growth Partners in 1995, Mr. Knakal was a highly successful investment banker in New York. He worked for JP Morgan Chase (Manufacturers Hanover), the CS First Boston Group (Credit Suisse) and Daiwa Securities. His career is hallmarked by achieving "first-time" transactions for some of the largest companies in the US, such as Aetna Life and Colgate-Palmolive, and winning the 1990 "Deal of the Year" in Japan.
Mr. Knakal possesses a BS degree in finance from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, and an MBA in finance from the Stern School at New York University. He has completed programs at the Forum for Corporate Directors and the National Venture Capital Association, is a published business author, and presented speeches at Duke University, MIT, the Boeing Company, Strategic Research Institute, Conference Board, etc.
